NKOTB Concert in Indianapolis

Tuesday, July 26, 2011

The Backstreet Boys and New Kids On The Block joined together to create one of the best concerts I’ve been to. Midnight Red (a band I had never heard of, but they were really good) opened the concert, followed by Matthew Morrison from Glee. Morrison’s performance was sort of cheesy, but he’s a fantastic singer.

The quality of the concert had a lot to do with where we were seated. We were on the first floor of seats, but they weren’t floor seats. We were three rows back from the floor seats. At one point Jordan Knight was close enough for us to reach out and touch him. Then, during the next song, Howie Dorough and A.J Mclean walked down the aisle right next to us.

The songs were brought to a new level with plenty of flashing lights, fireworks, flames, and fog.

Here's their setlist:
  1. Medley: “Single” / “The One” (with elements of “Viva La Vida”)
  2. ”Summertime”
  3. ”The Call”
  4. ”Dirty Dancing”
  5. ”Get Down (You’re the One for Me”)
  6. ”You Got It (The Right Stuff)”
