Acne is a widespread skin condition that affects over a billion people across the world. Fortunately, you don't necessarily have to experience what many acne sufferers go through if you know the basics about how to prevent acne and you maintain the proper skin care routines. I had ance when I was younger and have compiled a list of simple but highly effective ways for you to easily prevent acne and get rid of the zits you have now. Let me know if this helps you!
Keep Your Hands OFF Your Face!
Think about all the different types of surfaces you touch every day and the bacteria that crawl all over those surfaces. Now imagine those little germs and dirt all over your face after you touch it with your filthy, germ-covered hands. Stop touching your face with dirty hands!Maintain a Daily Skin Regimen!
It goes without saying that you should wash your face to keep it clean. Do it twice a day, once in the morning and before bed. Exfoliation is important also. I exfoliate every other day. How often you should exfoliate depends on your skin condition, so it may take some experimenting to determine how often you should use an exfoliant.Stay Away From The Grease!
Not only is greasy food bad for your insides, it's bad for your outsides, too! It can cause breakouts from underneath the surface of your skin, but people also eat greasy fries or a hamburger and touch their face without washing their hands. You're feeding your pores with grease to clog them up! If you follow tip #1, then you won't have to worry about getting grease on your face, but if you stop eating greasy foods, you'll not only look better, you'll feel better!Wash Your Sheets!
It may seem insignificant to wash your pillow case every week if you wash your face before you go to bed, but your skin isn't the only thing touching your pillow--you'll also find drool, built up dead skin cells, and sebum (hair grease)! You don't need to be sleeping with your face pressed up against all that nastiness every night, so wash your pillow case at least once per week!Exercise Those Big Muscles of Yours!
Exercise is very important--for your health and your skin. Work out. It'll reduce your stress levels and the number of zits on your face. PLUS, your body will be even sexier than it already is right now. So, go! Run a mile! Lift some weights! But, don't forget to wash your face. :)
