Last night, after Sara Bareilles finished performing her opening act for Sugarland, a gust of wind collapsed the rigs above the stage, sending lighting and speakers into the audience closest to the stage.
Five people are confirmed dead, and 40+ people were injured.
I was chilled to the bone when I heard about the collapse this morning. My friends and I almost went to that concert, and I was just at the fair the day before.
