Katy Perry's California Dreams Tour: Indianapolis
Last night, my sister and I went to the Katy Perry's California Dreams Tour concert at Conseco Fieldhouse. It was easily the best concert I've been to all summer.
Janele Monae opened the show, followed by DJ Skeet Skeet. I don't understand this trend of having a DJ as an opening act, though. First, DJ Pauly D at Britney Spear's Femme Fatale Tour, and now another guy that I've never heard of. All they did was play music and tell us to sing. Anyways...
Not only is Katy a great performer, she's an awesome person. During one of her songs, she brought fans up on stage with her. A little girl wanted to take a picture with her, so while everyone else walked off stage at the end of the song, Katy stayed on stage with the girl and took a picture with her. She even checked to make sure that the picture turned out well.
