Next week, also known as Hell Week, is quickly approaching. I call it Hell Week because the semester is coming to an end, and that's when everything is due. Projects become overwhelming while finals lurk in the upcoming days. It's going to be a doozie as usual, but it's doable.
On top of all of that, I'm stuck with the task of finding an internship for the summer. I have to have one in order to graduate next May, and I'd much rather not have to worry about my internship while the semester is in session.
Out of all of the internships I've applied for, I really want one in particular. It's paid, which is virtually unheard of, but that's not why I want it. I would be working with a major Indianapolis hospital, and I know I would gain so much experience from interning with them. So far, I have had a great phone interview with the recruiter and received a couple e-mails from HR. I was asked for and gave a verbal agreement, which I think means if they officially offer me the internship, they know I will take it. I guess I'll just have to play the waiting game, which isn't very fun, but I have a feeling and hope it's going to be worth the wait.
