My parents have had the same ceiling fan in their bedroom for over the past 20 years, and it recently stopped working. I decided to replace it.


Silly me forgot to take a picture before I took the old fan down, so here is my "before" picture.


It took some coordination to get this motor up 12 feet high.


Then came the blades.


Add the light fixture, and ta-da!
