What a wonderful day!

I could not have asked for a better day. I woke up to the kitchen table decorated in Purdue colors and confetti with Purdue-themed gifts and a giant cake. I went to church with my family for Mother's Day, then we ate at McAlister's--yum sweet tea!

The ceremony took place at the Convention Center downtown, and I got to reunite with my fellow classmates and some of my best college friends. I hadn't seen them since December, so it was great to reconnect. I still miss seeing all of my favorite people in class every day!



After the ceremony, my family, Chuck, and I went to Riviera Maya, my favorite Mexican Restaurant. The waiter brought out a huge sombrero and a delicious cinnamon-sugar dessert at the end of our meal. He then proceeded to smear the whipped cream on my face. That made for some interesting pictures.


I am so grateful for everyone who has helped me get to this point in my life. You know who you are, and I love you all.
