It's been confirmed that Glee producers decided not to renew Chord's contract as a series regular for the show's upcoming third season, although he could possibly return as an occasional guest star.
On Friday, Chord tweeted concerning message that had fans' worried. He wrote:

Well it's been a good year. Too bad its over. Time for summer and starting fresh.There is some good news though - Darren Criss and Harry Shum, Jr. have been promoted to series regulars!
