Today, I went to the Super Bowl Village downtown with my sister and parents. It was pretty amazing how many people were there.
It was almost impossible to take a picture without people getting in the way or try not to be in the way of other people trying to take pictures.
On the way back to the car, we finally got a picture of Amy and me without other people being in the way. :)
They did a great job decorating Lucas Oil Stadium.
Giant XLVI statues were placed on Monument Circle, a popular picture-taking area.
Right before we left, we passed the ESPN taping of NFL Live. We tried to get in the background to be on TV, but no such luck. Other people were just in the right place at the right time with the right camera angles. At one point I thought I was behind one of the sportscasters when the camera was on him, but I was probably just a little blur in the background.
It was a fun day, and I'm glad I got to see all the festivities. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
If you get the chance, I would definitely check it out.
