Look who came over to play with Howie, Rocky, and Sophie on Monday: Mia!



At first, the little dogs weren't sure how to play with a bigger dog, so they stayed on the deck with Amy.



Howie went as far as to jump up on the bench and keep a lookout from atop Amy's shoulder.



Rocky observed as Sophie played with Mia.



How could anyone be afraid of this happy face? She posed for the camera perfectly.



Amy posed for the camera, too. This time, Howie came out to the grass.



Rocky and Sophie warmed up to Mia and ran around the yard with her. Occasionally, Rocky would run up to Mia, bark, then run away like he wanted her to chase him. But, when she did chase him, he got scared because she was so much faster.



At one point, Mia looked directly at the camera and gave me this face.



Everyone eventually winded down, then Mia posed for some more pictures.
