Bridesmaids: Movie Review

© 2011 - Universal Pictures
Today I saw Bridesmaids. My parents and sister saw it on Saturday and Sunday, and told me how hilarious it was, so I had to see it. I've wanted to ever since I saw the preview. Kristen Wiig is one of my favorite actresses.

IMDb describes the movie's plot as:

Picked as her best friend's maid of honor, lovelorn and broke Annie (Wiig) looks to bluff her way through the expensive and bizarre rituals with an oddball group of bridesmaids.

Rotten Tomatoes' average rating is 89% for viewers, and 85% for CRITICS! That's huge for a comedy. Critics are usually so critical. . . The only thing viewers might have a problem with is the swearing. It is rated "R," though so that's kind of expected.

I laughed throughout the whole movie it seemed, but it wasn't all about comedy. There were funny parts, sad parts, inspiring parts, "aww" moments, and much more.
Overall Score: 99%
