Ever since my Dad "finished" our basement, there's been one part he never finished. This little closet in the corner. It's been that way for about 10 years, so I took upon myself to finish it myself. I'm turning it into storage for DVD's. I took a couple shots of what I've done so far.
This is what it looked like before I did anything:

Cleaned out the junk:

Put in some brackets (after much trouble with finding the studs, and putting in the drywall anchors:

Found a scrap piece of wood to see what one shelf would look like:

Stained and polyurethaned the wood:

I've been working on this a couple days, but still have quite a bit left to do. I finished staining and polyurethaning the rest of the wood tonight. That has to dry, then it'll be time to cut it up and put it all in place!
