I woke up feeling sick this morning. My throat is on fire. I'm wondering if it's allergies or a cold coming on, but it's beautiful outside today!

We drove to Watford City to eat breakfast at the Dakotan Restaurant, then to Larsen Service Drug to get cough drops and Mucinex (for me, of course).

We got some ice cream at Twist, and it was just as delicious as yesterday. It sure made my sore throat feel better.
Next, we drove to Williston to go to walmart and get our oil changed, but they were booked. The funny part was that they had their own attached liquor store. Only in North Dakota. We ended up at Minute Lube, and got our oil changed.
Mom wanted to get a gift for my Dad's cousin for letting us stay in her lake house, so we went to this place called House of Economy. It had everything. I mean everything. We ended up buying her a pizza maker and some decorations for her garden.

Then, we went to the only decent car wash we could find and I washed it with a handheld sprayer and foam brush. That was fun...

By then it was time for dinner, and my parents didn't want to spend a lot of money, so we ate at Dairy Queen! Yum yum.
We drove back on the treaturous, pothole-filled road to get back to the lake house and we made a campfire.

It's so weird that it doesn't get dark outside until like 11:00. I love it, but it makes staying up to look at the stars difficult. We finally stayed up late enough tonight to see all the stars.

I wish I could capture on camera how beautiful the sky is at night. There aren't any city lights to drain out the light of the stars. Good night!
