The last 10 days have been a dream, but now it's time to get back to reality. Today was the first day back to class after Spring Break, and I'm motivated and ready to get the rest of this semester over with! It's just a matter of time.
Today my CGT321 class had to be moved to another room and combined with the CGT340 class because the CGT340 professor got ill and had to go back to India. Now my professor is teaching both classes, and apparently the class we're being combined with is happy to have a new professor. It's week 11 of the semester, and they haven't turned any assignments in or had anything graded. To top it all off, the CGT340 class is using Maya (a 3-D rendering program) instead of 3ds Max (the program my class has been using). The professor took a poll, and the majority of the class is more experienced with Maya. I'm the only one who raised my hand for 3ds Max. I've never used Maya in my life.
Oh yeah, and while I was sitting in class waiting for it to start, the head of the Technology Department came into the room to explain the new class arrangement, and he called me out exclaiming, "Why do you have a drink in here!?" My water bottle was sitting on the table (with the cap on), and apparently there's a rule that drinks aren't allowed in labs that we bring our own laptops to. My professor doesn't enforce this rule. I said, "Oh, I'm sorry," and he mocked me in front of the entire class. Later on, he said he would remember me because I'm the one who brought a water bottle into the lab, but my professor defended me. He said "He's actually one of the better students in here." Ha.
Side note: We were in room 321 in class 321 on 3/21. Crazy?
I did lousy bowling tonight--like the worst I've done in this league. I was super tired, but it was still fun.
Other than that, I had a wonderful day. Am I really back in reality? I still feel like I'm dreaming. Hmm... someone pinch me.
