We drove for about 12 hours today, making a couple stops on the way. We stopped at McDonalds for breakfast in Kentucky, and I heard my first genuine Kentucky accent. That was just simply awesome.
Our second pit-stop was at a country market/gas station to stretch our legs and get some gas, drinks, and snacks. There was a giant Indian statue in the parking lot, so naturally I just had to take a picture of it. :)
Later, we drove through Nashville while listening to country music by artists who probably got their start there. It was surreal, and Nashville is a beautiful city, even on a cloudy day.
We made two other stops in Georgia, at a rest stop and a gas station. Now we're at our hotel, in Macon. We're going to get another early start tomorrow, so we should be in Florida by the afternoon. :) I hope tomorrow our hotel serves bacon at their contintental breakfast, so I can say I'm eating bacon in Macon.
