Once again, we woke up a little too late to get the continental breakfast, but Krispy Kremes were an okay substitute. I blame it on the Bachelor. (Read my other post if you don't understand.)
First thing we did was walk down to the pier and pay the $2 to walk down to the end of it. The view was beautiful. Now that I have my good camera, instead of my cell phone camera, I've been taking a lot of pictures. Instead of uploading them every day, I'm just going to post my best shots after we get home.
Anyways, after the pier, we ate lunch and went down to the beach to soak up some rays. We stayed on the beach later than the past couple days, until 6 o'clock. I fell asleep and my mom talked a lady she met for a long time. She probably would have talked to her even longer if it weren't getting close to dinner time.
Later, we went to dinner at Denny's. My Dad-- being the 70 year-old that he is--decided to play a little practical joke and use iFart on his iPhone while we were eating. I was mortified, but I managed to snatch his phone before he could do it again. But, then he grabbed my phone when I wasn't looking, and wouldn't give it back until I gave him his. Amy acted as the mediator, and swapped our phones.
Then Dad just had to go check out this bowling alley nearby. I told you he's obsessed. I think it was called Striker's, but I waited in the car with the rest of the family for about an hour. Turns out he was watching this guy to see if he could get a 300-game. It was a waste of time because the guy got 11 strikes and a split in the 10th frame. I got to talk on the phone with someone special while we were waiting, though. :)
We were planning on walking the beach tonight, but we were at the bowling alley longer than we wanted to be--we being Mom, Amy, and I. I'm having a glass of wine as I write this, and bed time is lurking. We'll see what tomorrow brings. :)
