Why do we care so much about how celebrities live their personal lives? Whether it's Britney, Lindsay, Amy, Christina, or Charlie, it seems like the public eye is waiting on the edge of their seat for the next celebrity to spiral out of control. The media has been given the satisfaction of seeing celebs who were at the top of their game hit rock bottom too many times.

Why do we care about Britney shaving her head, Lindsay going to jail, Christina getting arrested, and Charlie going on huge coke binges? If the media spent half the time publishing stories about celebrity role models as they do about celebrity train wrecks, and worried less about making celebrities' personal lives a form of entertainment, society would be better off. I'm pretty sure celebrities wouldn't mind it either.
