Our day began at 4:00 this morning (at least for those of us who woke up on time, ahem, Amy), and we were on the road by 5:15. We did most of our packing last night, so we were pretty much set to go.
We drove all day, making a couple stops for gas and food along the way. When we were at Arby’s for lunch, I got a call from Jenni and Tori. I entered two projects into the Student Design Organization Show, and they called to tell me I won first place for both projects! I would have been there to accept my awards, but I was obviously on my way to Florida when the award ceremony took place. Apparently I won some prizes, too. I thought I was only going to win a certificate like I did for the NKBA Design Competition.
We made it to our halfway point, Macon, Georgia around 6:15 PM, so it was a long day of being stuck in the car. We're saving money though!
We brought Panera Bread back to the hotel for dinner, and now it's time for bed! Another early morning awaits us tomorrow!
