We left the hotel around 7:45 this morning, and I immediately went back to sleep in the car. We ate a quick breakfast at McDonald’s--yuck--and had to get gas before getting on the Florida Turnpike.

The only other stops we made were at gas stations, a rest stop, and Chick-Fil-A--yum! There was a "warning beware of poisonous snakes" sign at the rest stop. I'd never seen such a sign.

I did some homework in the car, but couldn’t get very much done because I needed to use my textbook. It’s kind of difficult to read a textbook with a laptop in your lap while someone is sitting next to you in the back seat.

After I did the homework I could, I started making a Picture Book in iPhoto. I made Mom a calendar in iPhoto for Christmas, but had never made a Picture Book before. It's so cool!

Once we got to our hotel in Georgia, we went to Dairy Queen for ice cream, and that was the extent of the excitement for today. Tomorrow is going to be another full day of driving, but then we’ll finally be home!
